Tin Can

July 24, 2010

We stopped in a few beach towns on our way up to Cape Tribulation and our favorite restaurant (that we went to twice…which says a lot since we normally prefer to try new places over returning to something we’ve already done) was the Tin Can.  This place was in Port Douglas, a small resort town full of snowbirds from southern Australia and New Zealand escaping the southern winter weather.  It was a Yacht club and was much nicer than we expected it to be and we especially liked it since it was an extremely good value for the money.  The seafood laksa was our favorite!
